Van Dam Nordia was founded in 1881 and is one of the world’s oldest shipyards. Shipbuilding is a trade
that often transfers from one generation to the next, and the Van Dam yard has also passed through the
family ranks.

Today the yard is still owned by the Van Dam family and run by Robert van Dam’s son-in-law,
managing director Jacco Jongkind.

The yard currently has about 15 direct employees that work closely together with sub-contractors to achieve
our ultimate goal; Building yachts to the highest quality standards. Our devotion to delivering truly custom yachts
requires a specialist team, and that is what we have.

By sharing best practises, co-operation and frequent training we ensure that we can offer all expertise at the highest level.
The combination of state-of-the-art design & engineering and the high skill set of our workforce guarantees
Van Dam Nordia owners many years of pure yachting excitement.
